Back in the 90s I could download QuickTime clips of The Simpsons that were about the same resolution as these clips.

Good times.

so I put it in full screen to see how many I could identity based on tiny silent screens alone.

I stopped after getting the entire first row.

Bart & Lisa: Wow, two!

The opening titles were mesmerizing. I'm impressed by how little the title sequence has changed over a decade (but not -so- identical as to be "oh just throw the titles up again who cares" complacent.)

sorry I don't have a relevant catchphrase to barf up on demand, but I made a Simpsons reference earlier today even though it took me the better part of an hour to remember who I was referencing exactly; that will have to do

I once answered every single card in the Simpsons trival pursuit game without even trying. I can literally do this all day. I have no pride in ts, it is simply the way things are.

Lisa, our ability to weasel out of things is what separates us from the animals. Apart from the weasel.

I love how central television is in their lives. Every line has a television at some point, and this is after the opening credits. Few TV shows have embraced television they the Simpsons have.

is there an easy way to do this with command line ffmpeg? because if so, there are some other shows it would be easy to do it for.

Actually on second guess, it is probably using processing. That would be a bit easier.

I can tell I have important work to do, because I keep trying to find other work to do.
