Here's the non-generic link.

PETA is run by people who care more about animals than people. My sister was busted in a PETA protest and PETA did nothing at all to help her out of jail or lawyers or anything.. she was on her own. Its all about who can be more sensitive to the animals than the next person trying to outdo each other. Typical left-wing fanatics who share a lot with right-wingers. Agenda first. People second. Facist.

I don't see anything on this link that is unreasonable - if you leave your house for a length of time, leave food and water for your animals. If you can, take them with you. What is so crazy about that? I swear, people are way too quick to jump all over people who want animals to be treated with respect.

I believe in absolute respect and dignity for animals. In fact, I've gone so far as to train my dog to open all of the mail for me, and to eat any white powder that happens to fall out of it. Sure, it's been hell on the shipments of cocaine, but it's worth it in the long run.

Mitsy's doing a job I wouldn't want to do, and I'll be damned if I don't respect her more for it.

I suppose this is practical advice for those incapable of thinking for themselves, but DAMN, people worry about the silliest things!

All I know is, if given half the chance via natural disaster or terrorism or some such, I'm going to bite the head right off of my neighbor's small yapping dog-thing like I was Ozzy himself.

Screw all this! I'm forcing my pet chihuahua at gunpoint to open my mail for me. And he ain't gettin' no gasmask and gloves either! Unfortunately it's difficult for the poor thing because he still doesn't have opposable thumbs, despite my constant insistence, at gunpoint, for him to evolve into a biped so he can be my chauffeur. The damn runt.
