Makes sense to me. Generally speaking, plastic garbage bins are more-or-less totally dark inside and fairly spacious, which makes them ideal for the creation of large-format pinhole photography. According to the behind-the-scenes pics, the individual images are about a meter square. It's not the largest pinhole camera ever created, though...
