Takeo is great! Here's another version of this song, this time by the Jodlerkönig -- the yodel king -- Franzl Lang. I love this guy. Here he is a little younger asking for a bride who yodels. I could spend hours watching his videos on youtube, and I recommend everyone do so from time to time if they're a little down.

This is a wonderful, wonderful thing.
My mother's family drove from Pittsburgh PA to California in 1929 in a 7-passenger Studebaker. As they drove through the desert on unpaved roads, my great-grandmother, raised in a Swiss household, yodeled. It's an image I cherish.
But this... this is yodeling on a whole different scale. This is EPIC yodeling.
I LOVE this.
