I actually wanna know what makes Owen Wilson so damn brilliant. Owen carried that film!

Wow, somebody saw that film?

And, someone thinks Owen Wilson is brilliant?

Not yet, but planning on it. Ben Stillers' one of the funniest people I've ever come across, and Owen Wilsons' not half bad himself.

Owen Wilson's also not a bad writer. He co-wrote "Bottle Rocket" and "Rushmore" with Wes Anderson (in addition to the upcoming "Royal Tenenbaums"). He's also quite good in a not-bad indie called "The Minus Man" playing a creepily calm psychotic.

I must be the only gen-xer on the planet that thinks Ben Stiller is so-so funny and way overrated.

So it's official.. Owen Wilson is my new hero.

The only thing about Ben Stiller that I admire is he's bumped nasties with Janeane Garofalo. The lucky bastard.

Wow, he wrote Bottle Rocket? For those who haven't seen nor heard, that is one smart comedy. Almost as good as "Palookaville"

I like how these people are rallying around a movie that (a) failed to ignite the box office and (b) failed to become a cultural phenomenon -- aside from the fact that it's a ham-fisted, overstated piece of "comedy" that hit screens about four years too late. Making fun of supermodels is about as "with it" as making fun of secret agents. Oh wait.

hey, donkeyschlong, some people might like the movie despite it not being the most successful or relevant. why does that bother you?

wow, this thread got way off topic real fast...

Hehe, that's pretty funny. Yeah, all I can say is that we liked the movie. Others did too. If you didn't that's okay, because that's what we call an opinion. They're like assholes, everybody's got em and they're all full of shit.

Mefi soooo cracks me up...

Hansel is so hot right now!

"Bottle Rocket" is wonderful. Not only is it smart, but it features one of the most hilariously inept robbery sequences of all time (a bookstore).
