note: I am aware that the above sentence twists back on itself. It seemed appropriate.

What a really nice collection of links (and a nice message of curiosity and creativity to boot).
Someone managed to use the most modern equipment, in order to visualize and image, for the first time ever, in totality; "The Internet" (not a series of tubes, rather, a Cluster of Chairs; pull one up, have a seat, yeah, it's messy, but we have all sorts of chairs!).

Prior art for that “Morphologically, we’ve built a jellyfish. Functionally,
we’ve built a jellyfish. Genetically, this thing is a rat.
” link recently [functionally it is artificial lungs, actually, it's CPU fans, rubber bands and trash bags]. ;)

Turning Into Gods (playing jazz with the universe).

Musician/fimmaker Jarbas Agnelli collaborated with photographer Paulo Pinto when Agnelli was moved by Pinto’s still photo of birds perched randomly on electrical wires. Agnelli gives motion and melody to the photo, using it as sheet music to assign notes to the birds based upon their placement on the wires, or, through his eyes, the five-line staff. As individuals, the birds sit motionless, but, as a flock, they create a serene and magical score for an imminent Brazilian sunset.
(another Bird Music post)

The Walls Notebook is an aspiring street artist’s dream: a notebook that, instead of blank pages, is filled with photos of blank New York City walls waiting to be vandalized. The Walls Notebook is by Sherwood Forlee and Mihoko Ouchi of über minimally-named design studio the.

The video of "skateboarding" in the first link is wonderful.

The small clandestine team is headed up by the mysterious "Director," a 70-something über-intellectual whose father founded the Dadaist movement.

ELITIST TOWER DWELLERS! The portrait of calm, measured, kind words explaining why dadaist disinterested passion, bordering, and nearby to the irrational, (but well inside the realm of the logical) is the ticket to doing science in our sensational, emotivist catering world.
But We always Knew that that bunch were really ready made anti-notorious nefarious scoundrels. //Not-Dada-ist (only slightly Dada-ish).

You've left out the contribution of the Internet Service Providers.
