I know I should write something more meaningful, about the sheer weirdness of Schwarzenegger's rise to fame, riches, and power, about how this video fits in with the jigsaw puzzle of his career and life, but I can't, because this also feels like the live-action cartoon that was made up a bigger jigsaw puzzle, which reduces me to mangling phrases with an overdone Austrian accent.

I think this is a double, but the link is dead, and that was a long time ago. Carry on.

Oh... I had only noticed the first video.

He keeps talking about "the mulatta" in that first video, which is a bit disconcerting.

The guy who made the list that was linked admits T3 was the first movie he saw in the Terminator franchise. Kind of destroys his authority to make an Arnold related post.

No that's Arnie's character in Collateral Damage

They missed the best one

People make fun of him, but Schwarzenegger has probably done more to develop pun-based literacy and word play than anyone else since, perhaps, Groucho Marx.

He is the Literary-Terminator

In the first Commando clip, where Arnold is sweatily cutting wood in a wife-beater, there is smoke coming out of all three stove pipes on the chalet.

It's not cold. Who cooks simultaneously on three fires?

I've lately had my love for Arnold rekindled, after seeing T2 on the big screen a couple of weeks ago. I was too young to see it in the theaters in its original run. That movie's not just the perfect 90s movie, it's almost the perfect Hollywood movie.

I love you Arnold.

How about that one woman he was practically throwing in the air like a medicine ball? I'm thinking that Mr. Universe probably was also Mr. Date Rape.

Well, there were definitely repeated accusations over the years. I guess I had figured that where there was smoke there was fire, but I wasn't expecting him to be that overt and open about acting like an entitled, predatory clown on camera.

How Did This Get Made is about to tackle Batman and Robin, with a special focus on Mr. Freeze's puns.

My vote is for the T3 scene because I am the only person alive - well, second person alive now - who actually likes that movie. SOMETIMES I LIKE BAD THINGS, like Terminator 3.

The earliest show I ever saw Arnold in was The Streets of San Francisco, where he plays a weight lifter who gets 'roid rage to the point of actually murdering someone. Interesting, considering he admitted using steroids early in his weightlifting career.

Last thing I saw him in he was playing a politician and there was a lot of family drama. It wasn't his best work (well, at least the family drama part).

I'm pretty sure that is Ahnold's mispronunciation of "bunda" -- ass.

T3 is great. It's like one of the later Planet of the Apes movies. You can tell the series is going downhill, but remain entertaining anyway.

No appreciation of T3 is complete without a link to the sadly-deleted Sgt. Candy scene.

I DEMAND to know why Sgt. Candy wasn't really in the movie. Because he is hilarious.

"I don't know about that accent." "We can fix it."

Annnnnd now I will be giggling to myself all day long, thinking about Sgt. Candy.
