When I Grow Up (SLYT)
One of my closest friends wanted to grow up to be a fire truck when he was a kid. Not a fireman. A fire truck.

And I say, "because I am old, and despite the daily shit sandwich that the world offers up to me, I still want to believe in honesty, kindness, generosity, loyalty, laughter and, yes, magic."
Now that I am grown up, I choose, despite all the evidence to the contrary, to hold on to my child-like heart.

I also wanted to be a FIRE TRUCK... My mother teases me about it still... So glad that I'm not the only one who's been messed up by anthropomorphic vehicles in the early 90's!!!
Is there a support group for us that I wasn't aware of? Should we make one?
