Slow motion mammals shaking themselves dry

"Mammals can generate centrifugal forces 10-70 times gravity" & "animals 'tune' the frequency of their shaking" What happens when mammals shake themselves dry. In slow motion. Also in cute-vision.
This is exactly the brain-bleach I needed after that Marineland post. Thank you.

Is this going to help me convince my dogmonster to shake quicker after I bathe him? He is SO slow. He just sits there, soaking wet, looking at me like "Aren't you going to do anything with that towel, buddy?" And no matter how many times I tell him he has a really awesome mechanism for taking care of this efficiently... he just stares back at me, silently demanding to be toweled off.

Yeah, that previously link is where I learned that you can arrest a shake by grabbing your dog's snout. Saved myself many a proximal shaking.

The mammals in question used that same footage in a video called "Sometimes scientists can be real jerks."

They probably think 10 to 70 Gees is a lot, but they haven't measured my ass when I'm bopping to the Gaga.

"Shakes per second" is my new favorite unit of measurement
A shake is also a measure of time, so… shakes per shake?
