Tiny Sepuku: Relationship advice column meets "Hello Kitty". It's funny cuz it's true!!! Tiny Sepuku is Ken Cursoe's brilliant, sometimes bitter, and always bitingly funny advice column/ comic strip. I became a loyal reader when it was syndicated by the Seattle Weekly a few months ago, but it seems that Ken has been churning out these nuggets of wry insight, which so perfectly capture the almost comical absurdity of dating in these modern times, since waaay back in '97. He now has a website where you can indulge yourself in all that archived "Sepuku" goodness...

One thing to note, though: his site layout leaves something to be desired. Having the archives in a straight list format, much less with a blue-on-blue font color, isn't the easiest navigation system in the world. Perhaps one of our resident MeFite web designistas could offer him a quick hand to tidy things up? :)

Oh, and I get the feeling that the site being Metafilter'ed may be more than their webservers are equipped to take, so be patient if the site loads slow.

Yeah, the only reason I pick up the Seattle Weekly instead of The Stranger is Tiny Sepuku.

Of course, I still pick up The Stranger.

It seems like a pretty blatant rip-off of Life In Hell by Matt Groening (creator of The Simpsons). Well, not a rip-off, exactly: I'm not accusing the guy of plagiarism. It's just that the tone and attitude are almost exactly the same, but Groening had it about fifteen years ago.

Thank you hincandenza. It's things like this that make me love MeFi.

(and it's also things like this that will eventually cost me my job, because I can't see how I can get any work done today until I've read all of these.)

That was pretty quality. Time to add another comic to my list of webcomics to read regularly
