Cult genre film director Vincenzo Natali (Cube, Cypher, Splice) directs The Undeading, a PSA for the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Damn, those were some absolutely pathetic compressions. Get it right, people!

Side note: Natali is working on an adaptation of Neuromancer.

Gibson did recently say that it was a thing that was likely enough to happen he couldn't talk about it. Still, many a slip...

I saw Splice at the drive-in, as a double feature with Sex & The City 2, a pairing that was nightmarishly perfect.

A bizarre tale of nightmarish artificial creatures attempting to reproduce which grimly warns of the dangers of going Too Far, and Splice? OK, sounds like a match.

The ending of Cube is somewhat enhanced if you subsequently watch Cube Zero.

(For Toronto-ites: Vincenzo Natali is going to be at the Lightbox next week for a screening of Eraserhead and "an extended lecture and post-screening discussion and Q&A." I went to see Guillermo del Toro/Shadow of a Doubt for one of these not too long ago and that was pretty cool.)
