This cover of Lady Gaga's "Telephone" (video) is performed by Slovenian vocal/a cappella group Perpetuum Jazzile.

More performances (these are all videos):
*Toto's "Africa" (previously on MeFi but that link is broken)
*Van Halen's "Jump"
*Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors"
*Toto's "Rosanna"
*Avsenik Medley ("...a jaw-dropping rendition of Slovenia's most renowned traditional folk music ensemble")
*Michael Jackson's "Will You Be There"/Ecce quomodo moritur iustus ("A unique combination of the Michael Jackson hit from the early 90's and Slovenian composer Iacobus Gallus Carniolus' renaissance masterpiece.")

*Perpetuum Jazzile in a Radenska commercial - "The Power of Water" ("The first TV ad you can see without watching!")

These guys are pretty cool, though I have to say that the little moves and dances and gestures they make during the performance are a little twee.

A great post to put a smile on my face. I saw the video of them performing Africa previously; however, it was nice to see some excellent renditions of other songs as well. I particularly enjoyed the Slovenia folk song.

Their version of Africa is simultaneously TREMENDOUS and aggravating. Tremendous in the execution and aggravating because it just filled my mouth with bitter envy. Why, oh why do I not have a music group to perform with? So joyful and so much fun to listen but think how much more joyful and fun it would be to perform.

Thank you for posting. Now, I must go listen to the rest of their available music.
