This is excellent and elegant. Beware, it will suck your time not only in this game, but it will make you want to play all the others, if you haven't before. But it is well worth it.

There goes the rest of my week.

Thanks!!!

Having said "thanks", though, I'm finding the "free" version a bit unnecessarily (aggressively?) tiny.

After playing #8, I wanted to go straight to the SNEE and see what was new, but it was down at the time. If you've never played the games, you should do that before you view the SNEE, but when you do it will be so, so worth it.

Aww, man. Most of the way through and it froze on me. No way I'm playing back through it again.

Gurple: Try re-running it. The previous installments had autosave, if I remember correctly.

This version only saves if you paid for it...

I can barely see it. I appreciate that the paid version has full screen zoom and the developer wants to make a living, but not everyone has 20/20 vision. The free version really is unusable for me. It doesn't make me want to buy the game, it just makes me want to smack the developer!

But I won't smack him, because the other Submachines were excellent and free and that's still cool despite this one.

Also if you like this, see Daymare Town and 10 Gnomes. They are by the same guy I think, and quite similar.

Too small for me, too. As said above, I can understand why they smallified it, but my vision isn't good enough to even begin to use that version.

I never could play these type of games. I just randomly click on things, get frustrated and quit.

Thanks for the heads-up! I don't follow the casual game blogs any more and had missed this. After all the enjoyment the previous Submarine games have given me, I was happy to kick in the two bucks.

Am now delightfully stuck in [spoiler] five and doing some pondering.
