Noodles are the smell of denial and you will never grow up

Suburban Kids With Biblical Names write music with a warmth and simplicity that really hits the spot on chilly autumn days. My favorite songs of theirs are Noodles and Trees and Squirrels; their better-known songs include Funeral Face, Rent a Wreck, and Loop Duplicate My Heart.

I've had this on playlists for a long time. Catchy twee Scandinavian nostalgia pop. It's been too long since their last album.

No, the guy from the Magnetic Fields only does stuff with them and Future Bible Heroes and The Gothic Archies and The Sixths plus the occasional Chinese musical. Simple really.

I love this band and yes, they absolutely need to get another album out. This is my favorite song of theirs, 1999, played outside on a frozen lake. I much prefer the frozen lake version to the album version of 1999, it is somehow much more charming.
