Deck the Halls With Rounds of Mashups

The same songs you've heard time and time again can be reinvigorated with a little remixing and mashing-up. Presenting the wild, wild world of Christmas mashups, starting off with a wide array of Christmas mashup music videos, such as "Rudolph (You Don't Have to Put on the Red Light)" or the rather trippy "Pump Up the Holiday". (However, there's quite a few more links inside the post.)

While some of these have been covered before, many haven't:

DJ Riko has his Merry Mixmas medleys: 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011.

dj bc has his Santastic series, collecting the Christmas-themed works of many mashup artists: 1 (dl), 2 (dl), 3 (dl/torr), 4 (dl/dl), 5 (dl/dl/dl/dl), and 6 (dl/dl).

He also has the more classically-themed A Very Re:Composition Christmas mashup album (dl), aimed more towards classical listeners.

There's also the 2006 and 2009 "A Very Bootie Christmas" albums.

Enjoy!

Ok this Rudolph thing is brilliant. Of course Hermey is Sting; all that's missing is the gold lamé thong from Dune.

Is that Rick Santorum in the back left of that Pump Up the Holidays video?

Some of this has the potential to be the most obnoxious music since time immemorial.

No. No. No. Just No.

I'm sorry, but Christmas doesn't start until after Thanksgiving.

As this post will be justifiably deleted, please try again on Friday.

I hope this is something like a Girl Talk version of a Christmas album. My personal "pony" wish from universe...
