Ah, the pitter-patter of little feet.

Excellent.

Perhaps it can compete in a dance contest or maybe some sumo wrestling.

Set a plate of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies on it and send it scurrying over this way.

It needs its own hamster/poké-ball to help protect it from the rampaging toddlers.

The manner in which it undulated was vaguely upsetting.

Holy shit. I need to get one of these so I can chase my dog around the house with it.

She's not afraid of the vacuum anymore and the bike pump gets a big yawn.

I want to take one of these things wrap it up in the shell of a stuffed animal and take it out for walks.

Get this damn giraffe off of me! I am a fearsome monster-bot!

I am deeply disappointed that the video did not end with it launching directly at the camera like a headcrab.

Oh the horrible terrifying stompy thing it does at :49 made me click away so hard.

Imagine several dozen of these charging at you across a battlefield, each weighing 4000 kg and 8 meters wide, covered in reactive armor plating.

The airborne drones will get you first. These things will be used for looting your corpse.

Imagine one of those crawling out of your corpse.

Imagine one of those crawling out of your corpse.

How else is it supposed to harvest your remaining viable organs?

It's neat that the kids are so comfortable with it.

Those kids are not having the correct reactions.

All I can see is a cave-man like bashing with a bat as soon as one enters my field of vision.

Loved the undulating in a creepy manner, decidedly did not love the dash! Something chilled inside me. The kids were cute, at first I thought it was the lobster kid watching. And then his partner came home and saw what was being done to the hardwood floors.

"Perhaps it can compete in a dance contest or maybe some sumo wrestling."

I was thinking dressage.

Some of you may think the little kid was just babbling. He was sending commands.

"Boo-wip! Boo-ip!"

You can turn it over and it does the same thing? Neat! That's like, symmetrical or something.

1) It should be tap-dancing to Putting on the Ritz
2) My cats would be clinging to the chandeliers if I brought one of those inside the house. (They'd start out under the bed, until they realized it could follow them.)

The wiggling thing it did at the start looked like some kind of mating dance to me. Although, maybe I shouldn't say that out loud.

If battery technology continues to stagnate, we will irreversibly destroy the climate with fossil fuels. If battery technology suddenly advances, we will irreversibly destroy ourselves with spider robots. Discuss.

How is this thing anything but adorable.
I don't understand anymore.

The mad dash is ... unsettling. But not even remotely as disturbing as that dance contest link.

I'll be over here, in the corner, under the covers. O.O

I was expecting to be creeped out at the dash, but all I could think of was how cool it would be to be a little kid riding on one.

I did not realize that the machine wasn't the source of the noise for some time, and found it far more disturbing for that reason.

louche mustachio already posted clips of the dance-offs, but I think this one deserves to have its full routine shown, with the accompanying music

This is incredibly cool and I want one badly. Unfortunately, the cost is just a little out of reach for a toy, and I am pretty sure my wife would not enjoy having one of these running around the house.
