I just read the preview for "Courier" and it sounds amazing. I think I'll have to treat myself to more of the story.

ours is a strange dilemma don't you know
this life of constant wandering is but a curse
disassembled and rearranged
through a thousand time zones
with just a ticket to ride in that long black hearse
ah but we could cheat death for a little while
if you'd just kiss me babe

I already bought it, and my plan was to read it during winter travel...but I really am not sure I can wait that long. :|

This is a most excellent travel book. Not only are there short stories of varying length (the better to fill various transits with) but since ships are involved, travel is part of the story! I'm pretty sure I'll be returning to several stories soon, with holiday travel impending.
