I'm not sure a competition called "Shit London" can complain about signs that similarly use coarse language for effect (the example is "This yard is not for recycling, so Fuck Off.") Sauce for the goose, and so on.

Not seeing what's so ugly about that ugliest building, other than the rickety scaffolding or whatever that is up on the right. Other than that, it's just a plain old buildingy building.

That mattress has nothing on the one that has been lying in Toronto's Don Valley for a couple of years, (still!) visible from the Bloor Viaduct, with "FUCK HERE" spray painted on it.

pointystick - 'Saff Landan', as it's known to the natives, has a(n unearned) reputation for postindustrial deprivation and stabbery, compared to the more genteel and historic North London. There are North Londoners who tremble at the prospect of crossing the river, fearing a descent into barbarism or Hell.

I would make the 'Gentrify This' my work desktop wallpaper - in fact, I was going to - until I saw that the lozenge containing the slogan was somewhat more phallic than I first realised.
