Madness...I tell you. Pure Madness. Stop the insanity...I thought they gave it their best shot with the frogs...I thought wrong. This new campaign is catchier than the frogs could ever be...

It really loses its appeal when you show up in a bar, and every frat-boy in sight is shouting WHASSUUUP! to all their friends.

Not to mention when you have co-workers that play the little online movie clips of the commercials several times daily.

Interestingly, one of said co-workers is trying to get his 2-year-old son to say "WHASSUUUUP!" He's only gotten so far as "SUUP"...he's missing the "WHHAAA". Cute kid though.

See, that's cute and portable. Long after the WHASSUUUP! thing is dead and buried, this kid'll be able to say "Suup?" to his boyz without being out of vogue. I'm just amazed that this has lasted as long as it did. I thought that once the superhero version made the rounds... well... "Where's the Beef" did last for at least a year.

Far be it from us in the United States to beat a joke or a commercial or a news story to death...
