Watch out for me I sue. This is precisely the kind of madness that needs to end...I thought you learned to tie your shoes in 1st grade.

As I see it, the *real* problem is that correct shoe lace tying procedures are not taught in the majority of America's Med Schools.

I support this lawsuit, because if she wins, it sets the precedent for me to sue Donna Karan because my ass is too big to fit into the size five of her clothing line.

I heard this story on the radio this morning and I really didn't believe it. Here in the UK, it's one of those cases where we sigh and say, "Only in America".The worry is that it'll cross the Atlantic and someone will now sue for the same thing over here, we hope not.

S'true, this sort of thing just wouldn't happen here...yet, have you noticed theres been a lot of 'Have you been injured with someone else to blame...?' ads on TV lately though.

In the past it was almost impossible to bring lawsuits like this to court because of the legal fees involved, but there are several new, US style law firms starting up in the UK with a no win, no fee policy.

Looks like, as usual we get only the parts of the American system where someone makes loads of money, the parts that are good for the people (elected police, judges etc.) get left out *sigh*.
