I always love it when Neil Nunes does the Shipping Forecast. His voice is so great. (I have a thing for really good voices.)

This Is A Low by Blur was inspired by the shipping forecast, but doesn't actually use any samples of it.

I thought I heard it during the Olympics opening ceremony and Wikipedia just confirmed it for me: "In the 2012 opening ceremony for the Olympic Games in London, the shipping forecast was played in the opening part of the production with Elgar's 'Nimrod' to represent the British Isles."
