Bunny Sled!

Radagast's racing rhosgobel rabbits: A recreational musher looks at the realities of bunny sledding.
That was weak.
I want to see the one that proves that dwarves can not be as strong and effective as they are due to some mathematical property related to the inverse square law.
Also, spamandkimchi, if that works out, I want access to your Flickr stream.

You're telling me.
And it was SOOOOO heightist. I mean seriously. C'mon, people, let's nip this media hatred of tall people in the bud.
Plus I am a little disturbed about the original poster's obvious bias.

I figure any movie with wizards and hobbits and dwarves and elves runs the risk of being unrealistic, but that's me.
In all seriousness, I would love to know where the bunny sled idea came from, as it certainly wasn't in Tolkien's writings.

Heh. I was reading bits of the linked post aloud to Pirate-Bartender-Zombie-Monkey, who finally interjected "Stop! I want to read this myself!"
Delightful. Thank you for posting this, St. Alia!

"Let us now consider wizard spit."
I die.
I'm not even a Tolkein fan and have neither read nor seen The Hobbit, but this is a hoot.

I think it must have something to do with the deep magic which ensures that anything touched by Sylvester McCoy becomes lame and whimsical.

That is great; thank you for posting it. I had never thought about the different kinds of rigging for sled animals under different conditions; very cool.

Now I'm wondering how many 50-lb children dressed in bunny suits one would need to pull a sled through town.
