I guess all of us reach a certain point in our lives where we encounter some thing that makes us feel old and cranky and vaguely resentful of youth culture, something that causes the first blades of grass to sprout up on the proverbial lawn which we will be demanding kids to get off of for the remainder of our days. For me, that thing is Tumblr.

This is weird to me the way that "beautiful women some dude bolted exposed robot bits onto with PhotoShop" was weird to me. Sometimes repetition has comedic value. Sometimes repetition is nauseating.
The author is all, "THIS TUMBLR IS NOT INTENDED TO OFFEND" and I'm all, "I'm not offended. I'm troubled. I'm not sure why you did this, and I'm not convinced this comes from a good place."
This being the Internet, though, and the author being largely free to pursue whatever creepy pursuit they care to, I don't know if there's much more to say than that.

1) The point of tumblr is to do something (anything) over and over, more than one would expect, enough to get people to linger
2) If there is a point it's that gosh actresses flash their teeth a lot and their teeth are important to the overall perception of beauty. Even this is overthinking it. Talking about destroying their bodies or oral sex or handwringing about whether it comes from a "good place" is definitely overthinking it.
All that said it's not that funny or interesting, it's also just not that "troubling"

I know it's supposed to be funny and all and 2002 me would have had a good laugh, but I think that if you're just going to focus on the women, you're just contributing to the whole objectification thing where women are only valued for their physical beauty, so by taking away their beauty, you devalue them.
i guess it would have been more acceptable to me if it was actresses and actors without teeth.

I can't describe it, but you have to make the sound when you look at the pictures. It's sort of a guttural honk that matches the modified expression in the pictures. AND I HAVE TO DO IT.
