The Course of the Force will be returning in 2013. The first Course of the Force lightsaber relay race of 2012 started in Santa Monica with relayers (both in and out of costume) running in quarter-mile increments accompanied by Jabba's Barge all the way to San Diego Comic-Con - along the way, granting 1,000 wishes for Make-A-Wish.
This year's race will start July 9th at Skywalker Ranch, go through San Francisco through the Golden Gate Bridge and then down the California Coast, ending the night before Comic-Con. Who's up for some crispy Tauntaun?

My dad has a giant brown & gold RV with "JABBA" vanity plates and a giant mural of Jabba on the back which reads "Jabba the Bus."
I think I'd better put him in touch with these people ASAP.

Some might ask why a photographer wouldn't include a link to a picture of such a thing. I am one of those people. Not in a "pics or it didn't happen" sort of way, but in a "Shut Up! Your dad sounds awesome, we want to see this!" sort of way.
