Is there sound? I'm not getting any sound.

Or you could pretend you're ET!

I got no sound too. But left the window open. When I went back to it later, it worked! There must be something it is downloading that can take a while before you get sound.

It takes a bit for it to load fully.

I shared this on Facebook and the first response was, "I really needed this."

Note: Everyone needs an accordion.

So basically the mp3 stops playing when you don't resize the window. I was expecting something like a virtual accordion.

Is this meant to be used on a touch screen?

That was fun. But I wish it had been a bit more Parisienne than Bierkeller.

And it is always fun to be reminded of one of my favorite comic strips...

And also, for those of us who grew up in a house with an accordion, this might need a trigger warning.

I've always like this one.

I'm using the phrasing of this joke I got here, but it was originally told to me by my friend who plays the accordion:
A woman drives downtown to the library. She parks out front and goes inside. A few minutes later as she stands in the book check-out line she remembers — she left her accordion in full view in the back seat! Dropping the books, she runs from the library and out to the street...

But it's too late. The back window has been totally smashed out and where her accordion sat only minutes ago, now sits two accordions!

Oh, and if you want to listen to some sweet accordion music by that guy, he was the subject of an FPP a while ago.

Awesome! Looks like it's supposed to be a Russian garmon, my favourite type of accordion.

The tune is called Na yarmarke. (FYI, in the video I just linked, a guy plays four garmons simultaneously, also pretty awesome.)

It's not just an accordion -- it's a garmoshka! -- which gives me a delightful excuse to link to my very favorite Russian accordion song* (and a lovely English cover by Jason Webley).

*an excerpt from the adorable Cheburashka cartoon where a charming crocodile named Gena plays a tiny claymation replica of the same instrument modeled in the OP!

Not that anyone is going to care, but this totally sucks because I'm using compiz.
