Pokemon Fusion lets you combine two Pokemon into a 3rd Pokemon that combines the traits of both. Some artists have fleshed out the designs.
Lickitung and anything else is the best.

These are weird and great. I love the ones that combine cute, fluffy bodies with crafty, disgruntled heads (or vice versa).

Wow, the last page is pretty good. I wish fusion had more than the first-gen. I'd love to get a miltank-druddigon. I'd call it 'drugtank'.

oh also if you have a lot of time on your hands you can likely find some really neat ones just by searching the pokemon fusion tag on tumblr. some of them are pretty cool and look like they would be fun to play in game. others... don't turn out so well.

Last time I played with this I seriously nearly asphyxiated. I have no idea what is so broken in me that 'putting one pokemon's face and colour scheme on another and portmanteau-ing the names' pretty much makes me laugh until I can't see straight and never ever gets old, but there you go.
Mr. Ape, I... choose you, I guess? No it's fine Mr. Choke, you can stay in the ball, don't come any... Okay no there is really something wrong with these eggs.

And then Nintendo will bring this feature to the next generation of Pokemon games, creating a nearly infinite possible array of critters to collect, forcing players to spend the rest of their natural lives splicing all possible combinations in their vainglorious quest to "catch 'em all". And combinations of combinations. And combinations of combinations of combinations...
Until all lines of Pokemon have converged into a single creature...
