"When it comes to Star Wars (and Star Trek) items, I've resolved myself to the fact that I'm not likely to dig up anything that's new to the die hard fans. But every once in a while, I do come across stuff that's new to me - like this early Star Wars advertising campaign concept art."
Damn, Buck Rogers is actually six years older than Flash Gordon. Who knew?

Bear in mind that the first time Luke actually used a lightsaber as a weapon (instead of batting ineffectually at hovering practice drones) didn't come until he chopped off the Wampa's arm in Empire Strikes Back.

The graphic design is strong, and from a marketing perspective, it's an interesting approach.
Why didn't you write "The graphic design is strong with this one?." Total fail noob sorry better luck next time have you even seen the movies?
But seriously though, great poster. Is it just me or does it have a Leone/Spaghetti Western vibe?
