The jokes titles are meh, but the "high concept" covers are pretty great.

Also, I clicked this totally hoping this was going to recommend me some fascinating books on pornographic culture, because that's a subject which is genuinely interesting. So I was a little let down by that.

They missed the textbook - Asian Codes and Mores Around Ejaculation by Kum Sum Gai.

I mean the images are interesting - the puns are howl inducing.

Someone add these to Amazon so we can read lulzy reviews by jokers, bots and turkers:
"Not an handbook - way to theoretical!"
"Accidentally got this for the FIL - he loves IT (!!!)"
"Our family's new favorite bedtime stories"

"As the pornography course is about to be opened"? What are they even talking about? I'm with Rory--pornography as a subject of study may be inherently funny, but it isn't inherently ridiculous.

I can't know whether the creators are coming at this from a self-deprecatory or a dimissive place, but the concept behind the set strikes me as pretty tone-deaf, uncurious, and somewhat regressive. Like, haha, it's sooooo laughable to suggest that racialized things in porn could be somehow tied to colonialism. O u postmodernz!!

R.D. Bang made me giggle but considering "Knots" it seems like a missed opportunity for a bondage referen, not to mention working in an actual quote from the same such as "What an interesting finger. Let me suck it."

I am disappointed. No articles, I mean.
