Illustrator and artist Andrew DeGraff (Tumblr, blog, personal site) has made detailed "treasure maps" out of movies.

This is awesome. I love the style and attention to detail. The [spoiler] in particular was brilliant.

Groundhog Day could be interesting if you wanted to do a smaller scale map.

aw. not that this wasn't cool, but I was expecting yellowed and battered pirate treasure maps with X-marks-the-spot and what have you.
