Excellent, tho it felt somewhat incomplete without a Nicki Minaj cameo.

oh wow, the same production company made Gesaffelstein's Pursuit video, which is also pretty awesome

On one hand, using the aesthetic of the animated gif to create a series of interesting loops is a fantastic concept (Pineapple guy is my fav)

On the other hand I got kinda distracted trying to figure out which Stately Home/Palace they're supposed to be in. /arthistorynerdfail

That's a mesmerizing video. And I love Dizzee Rascal. Good find.

The pineapple guy loop is in reverse.

My fav is the guy behind Dizzee at around 1:52.

Mesmerizing indeed! I wonder how this was done and how many takes it took. I bet it was a total pain in the ass.

Whelk: Obviously a Georgian pile in the same mode as Blenheim Palace, with the formal gardens to boot, but on a much smaller scale. There must be a dozen, or perhaps dozens, of candidates....

Yeah English-in-design, not French, I swear I've seen that sleeping lion before, argh this is gonna keep me up.

Seems like a good time to relive REM's Imitation of Life.

I'm no expert in Tudor architecture but in my opinion that appears to be a Medici lion. That leads me to believe that the video was filmed in Alupka Palace in the Crimean mountains. Alupka Palace features three pairs of such lions.I believe construction was started in 1828 by English architect Edward Blore.

The song itself very reminiscent of On To The Next One produced by Swizz Beats.

Despite living on the internet, animated gifs drive me mad (I can't not look at them, and they are almost never interesting enough to be worth looking at).

This, however, was awesome.

You need to move to a weirder part of the internet. I've invested in some prime real estate on the outskirts of Uncanny Valley, myself, and the gifs are breathtaking.

(I love this.)

I feel like I've seen this vimeo part before.

SIKE! That's the wrong number.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

So where are they? WHERE ARE THE GIFS

The GIFS...they're coming from inside the video!

Yes. And thank you for saying "animated GIF’s".

Actually, I can not look at them, but I still hate them and they’re never interesting. They’re the internet equivalent of a child screaming an unfunny joke at you when you’re having a conversation.

Naughty Dizzee! Lov eet.

Some people call him bonkers, you know.

I can't find a clip online (nor an animated gif) but the bit where he's playing with cup and ball is a lift from a really great moment in the 1944 Henry V film.

So where are they? WHERE ARE THE GIFS

Production of said .gifs is probably stymied somewhat by the fact that a lot of the shots have a really really slow zoom in during the loop, which means that even in the 0.5-1 second it takes for the scene to repeat the overall image has changed subtly and won't loop seamlessly. It's like the producers of the video wanted to torment the .gif makers.

If I intended "psych." I would have said "psych."

Occasionally, I will affect satirical or colloquial misspelling for atmosphere or comedic effect.

For instance instead of saying "hey, guys" I will say "HAY GUISE" even though I am not in fact talking about concealing oneself with dried grasses, but am attempting to use a common form of internet slang to invoke a particular reaction from the audience, one that is commonly known as "lol."

There was a Summer Camp video a couple of years ago with the same concept.

This takes it to a new level though.
