Little-known fact: Michael Ian Black (LeVon) was the voice of the pets.com spokespuppet. It's true!

The State kicks such major ass. Definitely one of my all time favorite comedy shows....Now who has links with video to the "I want to dip my balls in it" and "I'm Doug and I'm outta heeeerrreee" skits? I found a few The State sites a while ago but the one that had a few videos had them embedded so you couldn't download and save them to your HD locally.

Michael Ian Black is now a regular (he plays Phil) on my favorite show, NBC's Ed.

Did anyone see 'Wet Hot American Summer'? That featured a whole slew of State alumni, AND Janeane Garofalo!. I was going to go see it in NYC in September, but then... uh... well, you know.

Michael Ian Black, David Wain and Michael Showalter do a comedy/variety show in New York called Stella--it's running until the 16th of January and hopefully it will come back for a longer extended run again... I have a vested interest in the show so I won't self-link, but I'm sure anyone who wants to can find out the details with a quick Google search. They get loads of celebrity comedians, and they also show a series of excellent bawdy homemade digital shorts which can also be purchased on VHS at the shows. Great stuff.

It's sad to see Thomas Lennon, my favorite cast member, shilling for various crappy products. Sad, sad.

On the other hand, it's a marvelous day at the Porcupine Racetrack.

Michael Ian Black went to my high school, but a bit before my time. My school was where they filmed the prom episode. They all got really drunk and stoned and ruined prom for all those not huge fans of The State. It was AMAZING!

Has anyone seen that State video on ebay lately? I would KILL for it.
