The Doubleclicks, of geek-girl anthem "Nothing To Prove" [previously], have just released a "A Love Song for Internet Trolls" to kick off the start off their weekly song Wednesday project. [via]

Oh you can't show me a kitty keyboard like that and not play it.

Also, if my experience with trolls in certain forums is any indication, they very likely would NOT know how to fix a computer, no matter how stubbornly they insist that they do.

This is pretty funny, it doesn't soar like Nothing to Prove but it's more of a rant than a defiant anthem.

Their full set from PAX 2013 is on YouTube. Prompted by this post, I've had it on in the background for the last half hour or so while I work. So far, it's pretty mellow and charming.

This past April Fools' Day, they released a 4-track EP with covers of their songs performed on the Keyboard Cat. It's since been taken down, though.

(You can find it being played in some of their live performances for comedic effect. Look for "Ironically" in the Ladies of Ragnarok tour, or "Something Else" more recently. I think that includes the PAX 2013 set, though I don't remember for certain.)

Yes, they used it in one of the songs in the PAX set, maybe about halfway through. I can't remember which song, though.
