I would assume that the knives are already in the ping pong paddles (it is easy to black out the points sticking out with post-editing). She flips them around, and, presto! knives in the paddles!

The ping pong ball already in the mouth that you push forward at the right time is an old trick.

At 0:17, as she's moving her left arm across her body to catch the second knife, if you pause at just the right moment, you can see a knife already in the paddle, and also the blurry knife in the air in front of the bench.

How do you explain that at 0:21 the paddles are turned sideways, and you can see the knives sticking right through out to the other side?
