Don't antagonize the dog.

Oh gads, I had a friend who would go up to any dog in a car and just stick her hands right in the cracked-open window to pet them. I kept waiting for her to get bitten. She probably would have sued the owner, too.

I love the animation style of this video!

We once had a beagle so dumb, it insisted on stepping on the window control when sticking its head out the window while sitting in my wife's lap, and invariably got its head stuck. But, also, how did the dog get the window to work without the keys?

(The car flashing its lights in the background was the funniest thing in a very amusing short.)

why didn't he just pick up his groceries. Five second rule totally violated.

My dog was very interested in this video. I could practically see him taking mental notes.

Are you suggesting my dog isn't a canine genius? He does this so regularly, I have to put the child window lock on when he's sticking his head out the window. Except that he tends to roll the window down, not up, and I'm worried someday he'll decide to just jump out.

My wife and I had the dogs with us when we decided to stop by the grocery store, so I let her out to grab a couple of things while the dogs and I circled the parking lot. There's a big field next to the store, and when we drove past it I thought I would have a little fun with the dogs when I saw 5 deer right at the treeline about 50 yards (meters) away. The window was down just enough for them to stick their heads out. "Hey, check it out dogs, there are some deer over there!" Before I knew what was happening Big Matilda in her crazy agitation stepped on the electric window button, jumped out the window, and went tearing off after the deer. This field was right next to a busy street, so I was lucky that the deer ran back into the woods instead of out into traffic, and I was also lucky that Matilda came right back to me.

This reminds me of my childhood dog a lot, with the window bit.

He was a really, really smart welsh corgi. One day we parked directly in front of a small neighborhood grocery and me and my dad walked in. He started barking at the window just like this, and running around in circles in the drivers seat on and off the steering wheel until... HONK. This startled him, and he comically stopped just like the dog in this video when it gets surprised.

So we start walking the rest of the way in to the store, grab a cart and make it a few steps hearing a couple more quick honks and more barking and then...

HONK HONK HONK HONKKKK HONK HONKHONKHONK HONK HONK HONKKKK HONK HONK.

I poke my head out and he wasn't even barking anymore, just jumping on and off the horn.

Possibly the smartest thing i ever saw him do.
