Wooden Stakes? Deductible! What's the best way to make financial planning an accessible topic to young adults? Get a handful of CPAs together to examine the Vampire Slayer's cash flow problem, of course! (Via The Usual Suspects)

They didn't mention the income potential from stuff that SMG, who of course looks exactly like Buffy and is basically famous for the same reasons, does in real life: modeling, acting, shampoo commercials, likeness rights...

hee. they pointed out something i've wondered about for a long time: how come, in light of their constant need to be in touch, nobody on the show has a mobile phone?

yeah. Buffy got a pager from Riley in series 4 (but it was just a military pager) and she was like, "I've been meaning to get one of these!" and that was two seasons ago. those kids might think they're smart, but nuh-uh!

Well, darn! If I had remembered the thing about Riley giving her the pager, I would have mentioned it. But I don't remember that event at all.
