Everybody's got to start somewhere, right? So why not enjoy Charity Scanvenger Hunt organizer and Supernatural star Misha Collins' excruciatingly earnest acting debut in the 1999 educational film NO BRAINERS ON TAXES.

I hope he didn't try to deduct purchasing that suit as a business expense because nobody would believe that it was his.

Fantastic find! Is this why Castiel's vessel is a tax accountant, or was that just coincidence?

Those who enjoy this may also like Aaron Paul's Corn Pops commercial and Bryan Cranston's Coffeemate commercial.

Pro bro pointers

1. Bro

You are in 1999 and in an awkward video you clearly do not very much want to be in

According to the wiki convention list* , the next time he's at a con is in L.A and in November so can someone ask him about the suit? For me? For us?

Misha is confronted with his ...somewhat spare acting resume by fans and co-stars.

side note, as an ex child actor, this is basically one of my nightmares

( it got stooped when a talent scout said I'd have to get my teeth fixed first and we, as a family went, well I guess you're going to be a chemist now cause that shit is expensive. Although I did go to a high school famous for its theatre program.)

Whelk, you are actually the third Former Child Actor Who Went On To Other Things I've met. I was LJ-and-Facebook-acquaintances with a woman who was a child actor, but her big highlights include an episode of the Canadian show "The Littlest Hobo" and a brief scene in Overdrawn at the Memory Bank (she was the little girl who nearly gets mustard on Raul Julia's brain).

And then one of my former-boyfriends-turned-good-friends was a cast member of the NYC-area PBS show High Feather; he told me this on our first date, adding that "I played the fat kid". I'd never heard of it before and thought he was making the whole thing up to get into my pants (except, if he were making it up, why would he make up the fat kid part?); it's started showing up on Youtube now years later, and it's glorious.

I love Misha but his acting resume is definitely not shall we say stellar. My wife and I watched Stonehenge Apocalypse for him and Methos and oh god it was so bad. The weirdest thing was that Misha used his Castiel voice for no reason we could discern, and he's complained about how much he voice hurts his throat.

He's been confirmed as a guest star in season two of Hannibal right?

Would it be asking too much to have him be a religious minded serial killer?

If they actually got David Bowie to play Hannibal's uncle then I can just assume the show is being pulled from my alpha wave sleep state.

Not according to a cursory googling but I'm too protective of my ego to do a deeper search.

Thanks to mst3k I think I've seen your Facebook friend nearly get mustard on his brain ( who keeps mustard in the brain room?!) nearly ten thousand times.
