Point of Order: The Shining parody is the best Treehouse of Horror.
You know this in your heart to be true.

The Facts of Life where they think Mrs. Garrett is possessed and murdered an old customer and ground him up into her Edna's Edibles sausage or GTFO.

I still don't know why Happy Endings never found an audience. It was such a well written and funny show.

The mention of Happy Endings just brings up old wounds again, *sigh*.
(Between Happy Endings, Don't Trust the B, and Better Off Ted, ABC is mighty high on my shit list.)

No love for the Davey and Goliath where Davey sees the two girls dressed as witches, so he locks them in the tool shed and sets fire to the shed? Come ON! I love the part where he's reading passages from Deuteronomy into the tiny window and Goliath's all like "I dunno, day-VEE..."

If VII is #1, that one is like, #1a. On the commentary, they mention that the network/censor was going to crack down on the violence and gore in future Halloween episodes, so they went for broke in a last hurrah with that one. Besides "The Shinning" I think that one also has the dimensional portal where Homer just misses living in a universe where it rains donuts.
But I just can't deny the debigulator.

I'd forgotten how good the Roseanne halloween episodes were. I'm always happy when i come across one while channel flipping.

Much to the appreciation of this toilet-humor fan, the included clip on this list is actually only the second funniest "Jerry Farts" scene from Parks and Recreation (the first is not Halloween-related though).

I have a memory of Liitle House on the Prairie's Halloween episode The Monster of Walnut Grove royally messing me up.
