An anonymous female protagonist takes on a phallic army in Mrzyk & Moriceau’s erogenous epic [caution: auto-play video, *deeply* NSFW] for Jackson and His Computerband.

I am not sure "erogenous" is the right word to use here.

Cheap Rip-off of a lot of Japanese Manga Imagery.

When my kid was of the age at which you like making up little songs to sing, and at which you first discover that you have a penis and that penises are hilarious, he made up what he called "The Penis Song." The lyrics were this:

"Penis penis penis / penis penis penis penis / penis penis. The penis song!"

He sang it frequently, because my wife made the mistake of laughing quite a lot the first time he sang it.

I don't know what made me think of that just now.

Well, sometimes a multi-headed tentacle monster is just a multi-headed tentacle monster.

Does anyone remember what song it was (by M83, I think maybe?) that had the animated video of the kids going to the local indoor swimming pool, making out a bit, and then being devoured by sea creatures? This...reminded me of that.

psoas: You're thinking of the video for Fantasy by DyE, created by Jérémie Périn.

1. OMG Jackson and his Computerband has something new out. Squeeeeee!
2. This track, however, is nowhere near as exciting as what was on his debut album.
3. Also, I am REALLY ambivalent about the video's narrative, although the stylization is aesthetically pleasing.

Psychedelic misandry. (Also, apparently Firefox's spell check doesn't know misandry is a word.)

I'm pretty sure there there are a lot of people who need to be on less drugs here. A lot less drugs.

His first album is quite special, something like a hybrid of Justice and Aphex Twin. Strongly recommended.

Top tip: when promoting your stuff, use a format that plays on mobile devices.

On the Erogenous Epic... Lately I've become hypersensitized to the idea of walking through a world dominated by the male gaze. Of how disorienting it has to be, annoying and angering. It doesn't make me want to kill, but it does cause my eye to look at anything but the women I pass on the street. At the end of all reasoning you don't want to be thought of as a snob or disdainful yet you don't want to be seen as just another predator walking to work or the train.

I dug the video. It reminds me so much of being like 13 and really believing that all anime was just relentless sex and violence. The track itself pales in comparison to anything on Smash, though.

Just smile if you make eye contact and move on. It's the only thing that restores my faith in mankind.
