When I got out of college in 1980, my first job was in the advertising department of a large-ish regional department store. It was around that time that a huge revolution in mannequins was starting to spread throughout the retail industry...Natural-shaped breasts with nipples on the female mannequins! You can't imagine the controversy engendered by this change. Seriously.

Not an invasion force, honest.

I don't know. I saw what looked like a lot of arm-y detachments....

The racks of dozens of smooth white articulated arms are like something straight out of a Masamune Shirow illustration.

Nightmare fuel!

I used to have to run past the displays in the department store while my mom covered my eyes.

It's understandable. Hard to keep workers here, even with good pay.
When they come to work in the morning, the figures have shifted positions.
