We had a non-Buzzfeed-based FPP on her life somewhat recently.

Wow! That's not what I expected when I saw the word "Buzzfeed".

A well written article that must have required lots of research.

I'm... shocked.

Julia's story has always affected me since I first heard it.

Most of the versions I heard end with "and they were lost forever..."

I'm so glad to hear that she's home and given the proper resting place she deserves. I wish they had found her son. Seeing his little body in those autopsy photos...jesus.

This is actually the best rundown I've seen of the whole thing I've seen. I didn't know some of this stuff.

There is a play about Julia, done entirely in the dark, that the theater company I work for US-premiered in 2003 or something like that and did again last year as my first production with them. The point is that Laura Barbata is our artistic director's sister and a very interesting artist independent from her very interesting activism here.

Your artistic director is Kathleen Culebro, and she is mentioned by name in the article.
