I think training your pugs to chase and devour Santa, then taking them to a mall Santa is asking for... carnage.

I'm trying to imagine the natural prey of Pugs and all I can come up with are like small animate pet beds.

The pug was originally an aquatic animal closely related to the sponge; it collected plankton in its nasal folds, where it would digest at leisure.

This does absolutely nothing to dissuade us from the thought that there is a puggie in our future. (After 6+ years of bulldogs, we're pretty well prepared.)
