I had no idea these guys were polyglots. How many languages do they speak?

Brilliant! I love the part when the Danish guy actually starts to speak Chinese.

Someone pulled a similar joke on me once, except it was a bathroom.

"Clap twice to turn on the light," he said.

Nope, no Clapper(TM) installed, the light switch was on the outside, operated in this instance by him.

If you want to make your own elevator rides go faster, I'm pretty sure the voice of Express Mode is Bebot.

Clearly viral marketing for the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation. Flagged.

Listening to this with headphones on may result in spouses asking you to stop laughing so much.

High points for the multiple details and variations put into the prank, but they varied from cute to funny to silly to annoying to mean. If they could have backed away from the meanest bits, it all would've been perfect. At least they included some people who were determined not to react at all (which 'prank shows' usually edit out these days). And it did not get boring over the 14 minutes of the segment. Allen (Candid Camera) Funt would have been proud.

I really did not think a thirteen minute segment from a Norwegian variety TV show could possibly be this funny.

Yes, "what does the fox say" dudes. Yes, I will marry you. Both of you.

Laughed until sleeping wife in next room made exasperated nose-exhale sound.

Then put on headset and cried choked and gasped quietly to myself.

I don't think they actually know all the languages, they are faking some of them. But they're so cute it's forgivable.

I hate watching most video pranks and I stayed with this one till the end. They're absolutely brilliant.

Also really loved Radio Taxi, which was a somewhat gentler prank.

On the eighth floor, a complimentary photo shoot!

I keep seeing more of Ylvis, and loving them. Our new favourite song is Stonehenge. (some lyrics NSFW)

I have to save this link til I have gotten rid of the chest cold that makes laughing a painful wheeze-fest, but I just want to say that I bought the "What Does the Fox Say?" picture book for my library despite the rest of the staff looking at me like I was crazy. I had made a little felt fox for a display I put up and so many kids stopped and looked at it and started making ridiculous sounds that I knew it would be popular. (It also has really trippy illustrations) Once I put the book out on display it disappeared and it's been circulating since!

Ylvis also traveled to Kyrgyzstan and recorded a song in Russian and Kyrgyz. (But my personal favorite is still Sammen finner vi frem.)
