Getting killed immediately without even knowing where I was or how to fight was pretty much what I would expect if I was actually dropped off in a dojo of death.

(second try was much better - not a bad little button masher)

After a while, the corpses strewn on the floor camouflage new attackers. Neat.

Years of watching Sho Kosugi movies have...not prepared me very well for this moment, apparently. I can't get over 16 kills. Are you clicking frantically all over the place, or do you have some sort of underlying strategy?

I haven't gotten over 40 yet, but - try to line up multiple enemies in a single click. A well timed click will cut an arrow in half. If you need to cross the dojo to get someone, never just run or head straight for them - serpentine!

on the trackpad I keep clicking outside of the game frame and pausing the game for maxxximum frustration

I like to avoid attacks and lead a bunch of guys around, and then strike through them and kill them all at the same time. SATISFYING.
