Goats on a bendy metal thing

We've talked about goats before, but I don't think we've collectively experienced the joy of goats frolicking on a bendy piece of metal.

Cirque de Soleil could probably put this on the Vegas strip and fill another casino.

Chevre de soleil. YES.

Goats are one of the only animal species that visibly appear to have an understanding of the concept of "OMG THIS IS SO FUN. BEST EVER."

And also foxes.

And of course the noble Golden Retriever. Though their standards for "fun" are so low as to perhaps make that a poor entry.

The goat on the left was a bit of a meanie. I can see why they keep it chained.

I'd be more likely to go the movie theatre for 75-90 minutes of this than anything I've seen come out in the past couple of years.

As great as this is, it could only be improved by audio.

This is exactly my family at the park when me and my sisters were, well, kids. That's Dad on the left saying "get up there" [he has to build or paint something so hurry up and have fun], mom is trying to encourage us by showing that it's nothing to be scared of "see look, it's ok" and Dad really wants to hop up there but he's afraid of embarassing himself. He even checks to make sure no one see's him being happy.

Oh my god, this is uncanny.

I keep waiting for the razor-sharp edge of that sheet metal to spring out of the ground and decapitate something

There's that one large goat on the left who never gets up on the bendy metal. This bothers me.

(also, not climbing on the bouncy thing when you have a chain around your neck is just simple self preservation).

Amazing video, but what's with all the Anglo music suggestions? Let me bring in a Belgian and a Scot with a linguistically and geometrically correct choice.

Using my vast expertise about goats, derived from extensive reading of The Three Billy Goats Gruff, I am unsurprised that the goats attempt to cross this bridge-like span.

(While maybe also trying to flatten any trolls that might be lurking underneath it)

Poncho braying loudly.

Goats are graceful but otherwise very stupid. Donkeys are clumsy but way smarter than goats.

Oh no! How could you you be indoors watching this and not run out and untie the big goat so he could play too? My heart is breaking because he's chained up. Bleh.

I have a cousin that I've never met because he is always living out in the sticks of the Midwest. I do know his parents and brother and grandmother and when I went to visit the latter last year, she showed us his wedding invitation....he got married at a goat pyramid in Iowa.

"A GOAT PYRAMID?!?!" I said. Apparently that's a thing there. Also the site of their first date. Now there's this wiggly not-a-pyramid....

Momma goat got balance down, but her and the kids didn't quite maintain counter balance. I was rooting for them so hard. Held my breath at 0:47, sat up in my chair at 0:51, almost started applauding but had to sigh when the wee ones dropped off again.

In the old days, you'd have to stay up waaay too late, drinking and smoking weed with your friends, lay into a giant bag of Doritos like a rabid snack machine, unable to sleep, watching cable access at about 3am on a Saturday morning to see something like this. And then you'd spend the next year telling all your goofball friends about it and whacking your buddy who was half-passed out next to you at the time and go, "remember?! You saw it! Right?!"

Instead: yay, internet!!
