This seems like an opportunity to mention Frank Netter, the Michelangelo of Medicine. Couldn't find him the wonderful links mentioned above.

My best friend has been dealing with her own cancer diagnosis by painting works about antiquated and just plain wrong medical diagnoses and cures. She has a show coming up soon. One of my favorite works so far in the series is called Sawed.

Tonight we're going to the Dittrick Medical Museum, a little-known gem here in Cleveland, for a lecture on historical anatomical illustration.

Art and medicine are a fascinating combo.

The anatomical waxworks of La Specola in Florence deserve mention.

The folks at Graphic Medicine have been holding Comics and Medicine conferences for a few years. There are podcasts, too.
