The next Sith Lord?

The next Sith Lord? Darth Kawasaki? This guy looks like a bad-a** and no doubt has the talent, but come on! Darth Maul had the ultimate look and feel. We barely got to know him! Bring him back! Clone Maul!

Maul looked too cartoonish, I thought. I mean, who paints their face like that. That is just, like, ohmygod, SO Pro Wrestling!

Although having an actor with crazy martial arts skills is a VERY good idea for the next Sith Lord. Jackie Chan needs to be in a Star Wars movie.

Forget Jackie Chan... how about Jet Li?

I say 'bring on Yamaguchi!' - I thought the
Darth Maul battle was weak, and I'd love to see someone who can really handle the fight scenes. Sure, acting ability would be nice, but we didn't get any acting from Maul, so it's not like that's a loss, right? After Phantom Menace, my expectations are so low that they could do Darth Jar-Jar for all I care.

George Lucas's secret plan revealed! He sacrifices Episode I by making it childish, silly, and boring in order to diminish the hype so that Episodes II and III can be judged on more attainable standards. Now I'm really looking forward to Episode II.

The fight being weak was Lucas' fault. Nick Gillard (The fight choreographer) wrote a really long and furious sword fight, but Lucas felt it was a bit too much, and had it toned down. Damn.
