This is beautiful, and I know someone who will absolutely love it--thanks for the link.

Thank you - that was both breathtakingly unbelievable and yet somehow familiar in a very comforting way at the same time.

Mesmerizing and beautiful, too, but also... icky.

David Attenborough should be narrating, it's that breathtaking.

Am I doing something wrong? The video is flickering between colour images and black. Is this part of the time lapse?

Aliens in movies and on TV have never been depicted with one tenth the beauty and strangeness we can find right here on earth.

That was nice. I wish some of the cuts had been longer---I could just focus on what the creatures were doing, and then he'd move on to some other fabulous creature.

Not long before I saw this video I was reading about Cambrian life and thinking about how bonkers some of it was. Then this video comes along and reminds me that life never stopped being bonkers.

I enjoyed it, but it was also a bit more nightmare-fuelish than I expected.

Finally got it to work by watching it in SD. Bit of a pity as it was a beautiful video. There's been a series on the BBC recently about the Great Barrier Reef, which is also pretty good. Episode 1 here.
