Chad Sell is a comic artist and creator of the inept superhero Manta-Man and the no-nonsense Part-Time Ninja (among others) as well as a prolific illustrator of the queens of RuPaul's Drag Race.

I like the style of the artwork -- very appealing in that 90s indie comic kind of way, by way of Finder and Strangers in Paradise. I'll have to go through and read the archives later. Thanks for the link!

I have some of his queens on my bedroom wall (clockwise from top: Chad Michaels, Latrice Royale, Alexis Mateo)! No better inspiration for getting dressed in the morning.

Chad Sell's RPDR drawings are the bomb - I love his Jinkx-as-Little-Edie. He's also doing some interesting group recaps on his main site this season.

I didn't really know any of his other work, though, so thanks for this!

We keep his makeup-in-the-dark Alaska Thunderfuck hanging facing out of our living room windows. We love seeing her, and ideally it may scare away an unsuspecting intruder.

Well, at least Gia is out. I like poisonous-with-a-wink if you're funny and smart (like Bianca) but Gia was neither — and just plain mean, to boot.

This is fantastic. I'm considering buying and framing a set of these for my apartment. Bianca Del Rio is one of my favorites, though, and I'm not yet sold on any of her pics, so I may need to wait until later in the season to round out the set. I definitely want one of Jinx doing the Snatch Game.

Even if you don't like Lasagna, this image of her is really gorgeous.

Chad also has given me dap for my artwork and called me a hero today and is generally really cool and thoughtful on top of everything else.

My favorite Gia moment was in the Scream Queens episode, when she complained about the other team's skit being filmed in black and white, the producer asked her if she thought it was because it was set in the 60s, and, after some thought, she said "...No."


I shall miss seeing her hoist by her own petard, that was satisfying.

I like this season of Drag Race. I am unexpectedly kind of impressed by Adore. She really turned it out for the Snatch Game.
