Interesting how immediately obvious it is that he's not actually walking forwards. I wonder how much practice you'd need to learn how to walk backwards in such a way that, when reversed, it really looks like normal walking?

Yeah, I got the trick right away, but still: amazing! It hurt my head a couple of times, especially when those girls showed up, trying to wrap my head around how that all played out, yet seemed natural, and for a minute they were like walking forward, and he was, well.... wow.

Also, props for the post title.

Plus, this guy wins the walking backwards olympics. When the two of them were in the middle of the street, their feet looked like totally natural footfalls, especially the second guy, whereas the crowd seemed to be funny as to how their steps looked. Yeah, I'm a big Howdy Doodat.

According to this, that clip was
just a short preview of a 9-hour movie that was aired in its entirety in France called Tokyo Reverse, part of a bizarre TV programming trend called Slow TV.
