Chad VanGaalen animates a surreal drive through Hollywood in the video for Timber Timbre's Beat the Drum Slowly. VanGaalen also produces animations for his own music: Molten Light, Flower Gardens, Clinically Dead, Peace on the Rise and Red Hot Drops. Some imagery slightly NWS.
I had no idea Chad VanGaalen was an animator. These are great!

We love Chad VanGaalen in Calgary. Not just because he's from here, but also because he didn't leave for Montreal at the first opportunity.

I really love his albums, but the only time I've seen him live his set sort of devolved into noodly jamming at the end, which was a bit disappointing. Looks like he's about to go on tour again, though.
